Ellen has lived in the Los Angeles suburbs for over twenty years and has also had great exposure to the film industry through the back-lots of some of the major studios in the Burbank area. This developed into a keen interest in the history of film production and the key players of the silent film era. Architecture from the early part of the 1900's in and around Los Angeles has enriched her love of history as well. She is an avid fan of historical biographies and specifically English history.
